BRUXELLES CHAPTER OF BELGIAN ARCHITECTS
13.10.2014Bruxelles chapter of Belgian Architects visited Copenhagen and its surroundings with 38 architects for a 3-day visit.
Seeing classic postwar contemporary Danish icons like Bellevue by Architect Arne Jacobsen and Fredensborg Houses by Architect Jørn Utzon on a beautiful late-summer day was a treat.

08.10.2014This brand new day-care institution for 160 children, age 0-6 of a size of approx. 2,000 m2 for the City of Copenhagen by COBE ARCHITECTS is really worth a visit!
It consists of five small houses with a unique brick cladding and green roof gardens which will provide the framework for Forfatterhuset Kindergarten. PRO:HOLZ NIEDERÖSTERREICH
25.09.2014Pro:Holz Niederösterreich came straight from Hamburg hosted by a-tours.
Then it was the local member of Guiding Architects Scaledenmark's tour showing how to keep 35 mature architects and decision makers interested for 1½ more days through the best of edutainment money can buy!
Not only getting interviewed by Austrian TV was a blast but getting to know the local Commercial Counsellor from the local Austrian Embassy seemed promising for future cooperation!
AMERICAN UNIVERSITY OF BEIRUT, LEBANON
16.09.2014Visits from Lebanon are not an everyday occurrence for Scaledenmark, but having American University of Beirut visit for half a day in Ørestad was a blast.
Fool me if some of these smart youngsters will not be the leaders and decision makers of their region in the future.
CREBETON FROM SWITZERLAND
15.09.2014Crebeton from Switzerland visited with a 50 PAX French / German speaking group of architects and decision makers.
The seminar was kick-started at DAC – Danish Architecture Center – and 3 days of exploration of the green Capital City of Copenhagen followed.

NORDHAVN IN COPENHAGEN OFFICIALLY OPENS
01.09.2014How exciting – a future home and workplace for 40,000 people is developing in front of our eyes on a former industrial landfill in Øresund.
The first workspaces in a former silo have already been filled, and inhabitants of the homes are soon to follow.

04.08.2014While visiting Ørestaden we took the group for a visit to the state of the art Tietgen student housing.
Their own students are trained to tell the extraordinary story of the building, and life in and around it!
If any city on the planet would be worth calling a twin-city to Copenhagen when it comes to its values, it might be the south-German university town Freiburg.
